Charter School Revolution Rally

On April 29th the Texas Charter Schools Association is hosting Charter School Revolution Rally at the Capitol. This rally only happens every other year when the legislature is in session. This year we're opening it up for teachers to attend the rally if they're able to recruit parents to attend. I have created a form for parents to RSVP on. There is a question there asking them what teacher referred them to attend. That's where they can put your name.

We'll be sending the top 4 recruiters to the rally on April 29th. A sub will be provided for your classes.

In addition to the top 4 recruiters attending the rally ANY teacher who gets a parent to RSVP and actually attend on April 29th will get a free jeans coupon to be used any day in May. You will get one for each and every parent you get to RSVP that attends.

Our campus goal is to get 80 parents to attend.
**We will be offering a bus to the rally from HSPS**

Here is the RSVP link

Dr. Sahin, of Harmony's research department has announced a new book focused on Harmony's approach to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education, is now available for purchase. The book is titled STEM Students on the Stage (SOS).

The STEM S.O.S. model is a rigorous interdisciplinary STEM teaching approach that is teacher facilitated, student-centered and directed through sequenced set of student projects. In contrast to the other PBL models in the market, this model is standards-focused and substantial part of PBL completion takes place out of classroom in a digital environment. The book provides insight into Harmony's practices. It also shares data with the education community on how this approach has impacted students.
