SAT Questions?

On Wednesday, February 4 at 5:30, HSPS will host an information session for parents of 11th graders to answer questions regarding the current SAT, the newly redesigned SAT, college expectations regarding the SAT, and what HSPS is doing to support and promote student achievement on this test. Due to the changing test, this meeting is only for 11th grade parents. A future information session for other parents is in the works for later in the Spring.

Women's Heart Disease Awareness.

February 6th is National Wear Red Day. HSPS students are encouraged to wear red to support Women's Heart Disease Awareness. All students wearing red are asked to donate a minimum of $2. ALL donations will be sent to the American Heart Association for Go Red for Women!

Chess Club…

HSPS is now offering a chess club for grades k-5 on Mondays and Fridays from 2:45 to 3:30. Chess club will start February 2nd and the cost is $25/month. Stop by the front office to sign up.

The application window for the 2015-2016 school year is now open for all HPS campuses and will close on March 15, 2015. You may submit your application online or in person at your campus of choice.

If there are more applications than available seats for the 2015-2016 school year, a lottery will be held to determine who will be admitted. The date for this lottery will be disclosed at a later time. For additional questions, please call your local campus of choice.

We truly hope you’ll be able to attend. Breakfast will take place in Cafeteria 1 and will start at 7:45 am.
